Community Carers NSW is looking for experienced, reliable and caring Disability Support Workers who live locally and are looking for regular work close to home.

We support participants across the Sutherland Shire and St George areas, with shifts available in local homes and community settings.

About the role As a Disability Support Worker, you may provide:

- Personal care and daily living support
- Domestic assistance
- Medication administration
- Community access and social activities
- Support with appointments and activities
- Assistance to achieve individual participant goals
- Support that promotes independence, dignity and wellbeing

About you We are looking for experienced Disability Support Workers who live locally and can reliably travel to participants throughout the Sutherland Shire and St George areas.

You will need:

- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Disability Support Worker, Aged Care Worker or Nurse
- Minimum 2 years' work experience in Australia




- Availability to work flexibly Monday to Sunday
- Current NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC)
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Current driver's licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Excellent communication skills
- A warm, caring and nurturing approach
- Current right to work in Australia

Our participants are located locally, so you should be comfortable travelling to clients within these areas and be looking for work close to home.
