About the project

Tiger Solar Power is a locally owned Adelaide solar and battery company. Over the next 12–18 months we are producing a slate of 15 professional documentaries.

These are high-level films. Structured, considered, and built to hold an audience. They are not social clips.

We already have a filming lead who handles camera, editing and graphic design. We need a creative mind to work with the company director and that filmmaker on story: ideas, narrative structure, scripts, and on-set support.

The role

Thursdays and Fridays, 9am–3pm. You report to and work directly with the director.

You will

- Develop concepts across the 15-film slate

- Write treatments, narrative structure and scripts

- Shape interviews, character, tension and payoff so each film has a clear through-line

- Sit in creative sessions with the director and our filming lead

- Help on shoots where another pair of eyes and a story brain is needed

- Push past the obvious energy-industry brief. Different angles. Different structures. Ideas that feel unexpected and still hold up as serious films

Film, editing and sound experience are a bonus.





Do this well and the role can grow well beyond two days a week.

Who we want

Someone who thinks in long-form story and does not default to the first idea in the room.

You will need

- Proven ability to write scripts, treatments or narrative outlines
- A feel for documentary structure, not just “talking heads and B-roll”

- The confidence to bring ideas and to work one-on-one with the director

- Willingness to help on qualified film days
- A current driver’s license and your own transport

- Availability every Thursday and Friday, 9:00am–3:00pm

If your instinct is to copy what other companies already make, this is not the role.

Useful, not required

- Documentary or high-end branded-film credits

- On-set experience

- Editing or sound
