About You

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Provide domestic assistance services to Care Forward consumers in their homes by:

- Assisting with household cleaning, vacuuming and general housekeeping.
- Making beds and changing linen.
- Completing laundry, ironing and clothing care tasks.
- Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms.
- Assisting with meal preparation and shopping tasks.
- Supporting consumers to maintain a clean, safe and comfortable home environment.
- Encouraging independence through a wellness and reablement approach.
- Monitoring consumer wellbeing and reporting concerns to the relevant Coordinator or Team Leader.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Providing respectful, professional and person-centred support at all times.

Qualifications

Minimum:

- Current Driver's Licence.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Current CPR Certificate.




- Access to a registered, roadworthy and comprehensively insured motor vehicle for travel between consumer homes.

Experience

- Experience in domestic assistance, home care, community services or a similar role.
- Understanding of supporting consumers to remain independent at home.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety principles.
- Experience working within community, aged care or disability services is highly regarded.

Skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with consumers and families.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to identify and report risks, concerns or changes in consumer wellbeing.
- Commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
