Are you an experienced Draftsperson with strong AutoCAD skills and experience producing 3D models for industrial projects?

Scantec Refrigeration Technologies is a leading industrial refrigeration company providing end to end solutions from design and construction through to commissioning and ongoing maintenance. We deliver high quality industrial refrigeration systems across Australia and Oceania, specialising in Ammonia and CO₂ technology.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Industrial Refrigeration Draftsperson to join our projects team based in Brisbane. This role works closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to develop coordinated 2D and 3D documentation for industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Produce detailed 3D models of refrigeration plant, piping, and equipment using Autodesk based platforms

- Generate coordinated 2D drawings including layouts, sections, and installation details from 3D models

- Develop and maintain project drawing packages from concept through to as built documentation

- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and site teams to resolve design and constructability issues





- Incorporate supplier and manufacturer models and drawings into project documentation

- Manage drawing revisions and document control throughout the project lifecycle

- Ensure drawings align with relevant standards, codes, and company specifications

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

- Proven experience using AutoCAD (essential)

- Strong experience producing 3D models for industrial, mechanical, or building services projects

- Exposure to Revit (desirable)

- Exposure to Plant 3D (desirable)

- Ability to interpret engineering concepts and translate them into accurate construction documentation

- Strong attention to detail and document control skills

- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

- Experience in industrial refrigeration (desirable)
