C2C Music Academy is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Drum Teacher to join our growing teaching team in Schofields.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and beginner-to-intermediate students and can create engaging, structured and enjoyable drum lessons.

About the Role

You will be responsible for providing private drum lessons to students of different ages and skill levels.

Lessons are generally scheduled during after-school hours on weekdays.

Your responsibilities will include

- Teaching one-on-one drum lessons
- Preparing lessons according to each student's level and goals
- Helping students develop rhythm, technique, coordination and musicality
- Teaching students how to play along with songs and backing tracks
- Maintaining a positive and encouraging learning environment
- Communicating professionally with students, parents and academy management
- Keeping lessons organised and running on time
- Supporting students preparing for performances or examinations where applicable

About You We would love to hear from you if you:
- Have strong drum/percussion skills
- Have previous teaching experience or are confident working with students
- Enjoy teaching children and young people
- Are patient, friendly and professional
- Are reliable and punctual
- Have good communication skills




- Can commit to regular weekly teaching hours
- Are comfortable teaching beginners through to more advanced students

Music qualifications are highly regarded but are not essential if you have robust performance and teaching experience.

Requirements

Applicants should have

- Strong practical drumming ability
- Reliable transport to Schofields
- Availability during weekday afternoons/evenings
- A valid Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Australian working rights
