About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Duty Manager to join the leadership team at The Warwick.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring exceptional guest experiences across food & beverage, gaming, TAB, and all other operational areas. Working closely with the Venue Manager and wider leadership team, you will play a key role in driving service standards, team performance, operational excellence, and compliance.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who enjoys leading from the front in a busy, high-volume venue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue across food & beverage, gaming, TAB, and all guest areas
- Lead, mentor, and develop the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Ensure compliance with all gaming, liquor licensing, RSA, WHS, and company policies and procedures
- Drive a positive and engaging guest experience across all areas of the venue
- Assist with rostering, labour management, and daily operational requirements
- Monitor venue presentation, service standards, and operational performance
- Coordinate promotions and customer engagement initiatives
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Maintain a strong floor presence and lead from the front during peak trade periods
- Work collaboratively with venue leadership to support overall business performance
About You:
• Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar leadership role within a high-volume hospitality venue
- Experience across food & beverage and gaming operations
- Strong understanding of NSW gaming compliance and liquor licensing requirements
• Valid NSW RSA and RCG Competency Cards
- Proven ability to lead teams within fast-paced hospitality environments
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
- Hands-on leadership style with a solid operational focus
- Highly organised with excellent problem-solving skills
- Professional presentation and positive attitude
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and public holidays
