About the Opportunity

As the 2IC, you will work closely with the Centre Director to support the day-to-day operation of the service while providing guidance and leadership to the team. Educators at all levels of experience are encouraged to apply. If you are an experienced 2IC or Room Leader ready for your next step, we'd love to hear from you. We are also open to passionate educators who have strong leadership potential and are ready to grow into a leadership position.

Your Responsibilities

- Support the Centre Director with the daily operation of the service
- Provide leadership, guidance and support to educators
- Help maintain high standards of education, care and compliance
- Build strong relationships with children, families and the wider team
- Support programming, planning and quality improvement
- Assist with staff mentoring and career development
- Step into the Director's role when required
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture

About You

We welcome applications from educators with different levels of experience, including:

- Experienced 2ICs and Assistant Directors
- Room Leaders looking to progress into leadership
- Diploma-qualified educators ready for their next career step
- Experienced Certificate III educators with strong leadership potential
- Educators who are passionate, reliable and eager to develop their skills

You should have:




- A relevant Early Childhood qualification
- A genuine passion for working with children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive and professional approach
- An understanding of the EYLF, NQS and National Regulations
- A willingness to learn, grow and contribute to a supportive team
