Our thoughtfully designed program supports the individual learning and developmental needs of pre-kindy children in a nurturing and engaging environment. Our educational approach is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS). We value children's voices and ideas, encouraging them to investigate, work together and express themselves through rich learning experiences. Climb Pre-Kindy operates Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, for 48 weeks of the year.

About the Role

As Head Teacher, your key role is to lead a rich educational program and work alongside an established team of educators in delivering a thoughtful curriculum. Having a warm, kind and caring disposition when engaging with the Climb community is key to success in this position.

You will:

- Develop caring and supportive relationships with the children, educators and families.

- Lead an inquiry-based educational program inspired by children's interests

- Create engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments

- Support, mentor and guide educators to strengthen teaching practice





- Build strong partnerships with families and the local community

- Ensure the program aligns with the Climb Philosophy, Reggio Emilia Ideology, Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

- Be organised, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture

- Reflect on practice and use knowledgeable feedback to enhance teaching capability

- Demonstrate a willingness for innovative and creative thinking

About You The ideal candidate will require the following:

- Bachelor of Education -ECE (Graduates with experience considered)

- Diploma of ECEC (Lead Educators with over 3 years of experience considered)

- Current TRBWA registration

- Current Working with Children Check

- Current National Police Clearance

- Current First Aid and CPR Certification

- Gekko National Child Safety Training

- High-level English communication skills, both written and verbal

- Proficient use of technology, digital programming/communication, and social media
