Theroleiswithamechanicalservicesoperationsupportingessentialfleetand GroundSupportEquipment(GSE).Yourverifiedtradequalifications,practicalexperienceandabilitytomeettherequirementsofacontrolledaviationenvironmentwillbeimportanttoyoursuccess.

Youwillworkacrossavariedrangeofmechanicalequipment,withopportunitiestoapplyyourdiagnosticandrepairskillsinanenvironmentwherereliability,accountabilityandsafetyarecritical.

Youwillworkacrossavariedrangeofmechanicalequipment,withopportunitiestoapplyyourdiagnosticandrepairskillsinanenvironmentwherereliability,accountabilityandsafetyarecritical.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect,serviceandrepairlightvehicles,heavyvehiclesandGroundSupportEquipment

Diagnosemechanical,dieselandhydraulicfaultsusingsystematictroubleshootingmethods

Carryoutpreventativemaintenancetominimiseequipmentdowntime

Attendbreakdownsandcompleteeffectiveon-siterepairs

Identifymechanicalissuesandrecommendappropriaterepairsolutions

Worksafelywithincontrolledoperationalandairsideenvironments

Maintainaccurateservicerecords,jobreportsandmaintenancedocumentation

Completerepairsinaccordancewithworkplacesafetyandqualitystandards





Collaboratewithothermechanicsandoperationalteammembers

Communicateprofessionallywithclientsandrelevantworkplacepersonnel

Maintaintools,equipmentandworkareasinasafeandorganisedcondition

Applypracticalknowledgeandprevioustradeexperiencetospecialisedequipment

Approximately5yearsormoreofrelevanthands-onmechanicalexperience

Demonstratedexperienceworkingwithlightvehicles,heavyvehiclesorheavyequipment

Strongmechanicaldiagnosticandproblem-solvingcapabilities

Abilitytoprovideevidenceoftradequalificationsandrelevantworkexperience

Abilitytoworkindependentlywhilecontributingeffectivelytoateam

Strongcommitmenttoworkplacesafetyandprofessionalstandards

CurrentHRDriverLicence

Weldingexperienceisadvantageous

GSEoraviation-relatedmechanicalexperienceisadvantageous
