n
n
If flexibility is one of the biggest things you're looking for in your next Occupational Therapy role, this opportunity offers plenty of it.
n
You'll join an established allied health provider working throughout the Blacktown and St Marys region, with a working week generally split between three community days and two days working from home.
n
Rather than having every hour of your week predetermined, clinicians are trusted to manage their own diaries, organise appointments sensibly and complete administration from home.
n
Why You'll Love This Role
n
n
- Two WFH Days: Spend approximately two days each week completing reports, telehealth and administration from home.
n
- Autonomy Over Your Diary: You're trusted to organise your week without being micromanaged.
n
- Grouped Community Appointments: Clients are intentionally booked within similar geographical areas to reduce unnecessary driving.
n
- Approximately Five Clients Per Day: A manageable appointment load rather than an overloaded community diary.
n
- No Aggressive KPI Culture: The focus is on sustainable productivity and quality clinical work.
n
- Flexible Working Structure: Your community/WFH split can vary depending on appointments and your week.
n
- Established Referrals: Step into an existing caseload rather than waiting for clients to be generated.
n
- Broad Clinical Exposure:
Work across adults and paediatrics while developing FCA, AT and wheelchair assessment skills.
n
- Long-Term Team: Join clinicians who have remained with the organisation for more than four years.
n
- Ongoing Support: Weekly supervision, monthly PD and collaborative peer review.
n
n
What Your Week Could Look Like Your typical structure will be:
n
3 days community | 2 days WFH
n
On community days, you'll generally see around five clients, with appointments grouped geographically.
n
Once your face‐to‐face appointments are finished, you have the flexibility to complete remaining administration from home rather than returning unnecessarily to an office.
n
There is no expectation that everyone must structure their week identically. The organisation understands that clinicians work differently and gives you room to organise your diary in a way that remains productive while still being sustainable.
n
Your Caseload
n
Your caseload will be approximately:
n
60% Adults | 40% Paediatrics
n
Clients are aged 10 years and above, with work including:
n
n
- Functional Capacity Assessments
n
- Assistive Technology
n
- Wheelchair assessments
n
- Capacity-building intervention
n
- School-based paediatric work
n
- NDIS clients
n
- Opportunities to develop medico‐legal reporting experience
n
n
The adult component is generally straightforward and functional rather than being dominated by highly complex presentations.
n
No Constant KPI Pressure: The organisation doesn't operate around clinicians feeling like every spare minute needs to become a billable hour. There is a broader monthly productivity expectation, but existing clinicians comfortably achieve this within their normal workload.
n
The focus is on quality work, positive outcomes and clinicians staying with the organisation long‐term.
n
Support & Development

n
n
- Weekly 1-hour supervision
