About us At Warakirri College, we educate young people aged 15–22 who have disengaged from mainstream schooling—often due to anxiety, depression, or social disadvantage. Our students are capable, curious, and resilient. They simply need the right environment and dedicated, passionate educators to thrive.

We have campuses in Blacktown, Campbelltown, Fairfield, Redfern, and a new campus opening in Picton soon. We also have a Distance Education program.

We are advertising multiple positions across various campuses because the college is in a growth phase.

We are seeking a passionate PDHPE teacher to teach Stage 6 subjects, Community and Family Studies (CAFS), Sport, Lifestyle and Recreation (SLR) and Junior PDHPE as part of an experienced, committed team. This position is located at our Redfern campus.

About You

An experienced, NESA-accredited PDHPE Teacher who has taught, or is interested in teaching, CAFS, SLR and Junior PDHPE.

A genuine belief in young people and their capacity to engage and succeed

Ability to build strong, respectful relationships

An understanding of trauma‑informed practice and the ability to provide a safe and inclusive, student‑centred learning culture

A commitment to professional growth and reflective practice

A collaborative mindset and emotional intelligence.
