About the role We are seeking an

experienced Maintenance Coordinator – Electrical

to join the operations and maintenance team at

Mt Carlton Gold Mine

in Central QLD.

The

Maintenance Coordinator – Electrical is responsible for leading the execution of electrical maintenance activities as well as working with the planning team to develop scheduled maintenance plans. This role will play a key part in maintaining safety & reliability through engagement with onsite stakeholders and contractors.

This role will be offered on a

Max Term Full Time Contract

and will see you work a

8/6 Roster Day shift only.

This role will be BIBO from the Townsville Region. Accommodation and Meals are supplied whilst on site.

Duties will include but not be limited to:-

Lead and provide technical support to electrical personnel within the processing plant

Hold the position of Person In Control of Electrical Works (PCEW) and ensure compliance with QLD mining legislation, Australian Standards, and site procedures





Maintain maintenance records and technical documentation in accordance with the site Electrical Safety Management Plan

Liase with the maintenance planners to develop weekly and shutdown maintenance plans

To be successful in this role, you will have:-

Trade qualification as an Electrician with a current Electrical Licence

Proven experience leading teams within a gold processing plant, mineral processing facility or heavy industrial environment

Experience maintaining fixed plant electrical systems including High and Low Voltage, MCCs, Switchboards, VSDs, PLC/SCADA and Instrumentation

Current Mining, Minerals and Quarries Medical – Desirable

HV Switching Certification – Desirable

Experience with CMMS systems (e.g., Pronto, SAP) - Desirable

Strong safety mindset with a commitment to following procedures and site standards.

Current Australian Drivers License – Essential

Right to Work in Australia – Essential
