They’re now making a significant investment in AI and building out their capability across Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, Fabric and automation.

They already have technical resources who can build and implement AI solutions. Now they need a senior, customer-facing consultant who can lead the conversation - uncover opportunities, work with senior stakeholders, shape solutions and help turn ideas into real customer projects.

This isn't a pure development or data science role. You’ll sit somewhere between a Solutions Architect, AI Consultant and Technical Pre-Sales Engineer.

If you can walk into a customer meeting, understand the business problem, identify where AI can add value and then help design, position and guide the solution, this could be a brilliant move.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Running AI discovery workshops with customers

Identifying AI, automation and Copilot opportunities across client environments

Meeting with business owners, executives and board-level stakeholders

Understanding business challenges and translating them into practical AI solutions

Assisting with AI pre-sales, proposals and solution scoping

Designing AI solutions and implementation roadmaps

Presenting solutions, recommendations and business cases to customers

Supporting sales opportunities from initial discovery through to project delivery

Acting as the AI subject matter expert for customers and internal teams

Working closely with technical resources to guide implementation

Mentoring junior AI engineers

Helping develop repeatable AI services and offerings

Contributing to the growth of the company’s AI practice

What You’ll Bring:

Strong experience in a customer-facing AI, Microsoft consulting, solutions architecture or technical pre-sales role

Experience working within an MSP, Microsoft Partner or technology consulting environment highly regarded

Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify genuine customer opportunities

Confidence running discovery workshops and requirements sessions

Experience presenting technical solutions to business owners,



executives and senior stakeholders

Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and project roadmaps

Strong solution design and architecture skills

Experience supporting technical pre-sales and proposal development

Strong communication and presentation skills

Ability to work comfortably across sales, consulting and technical delivery teams

A genuine interest in helping customers adopt AI in practical, commercially useful ways

The ability to mentor and guide junior technical resources
