We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a busy manufacturing operation. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on maintenance, fault finding and keeping production machinery running efficiently.
The Role
- Preventative and scheduled maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Breakdown maintenance and mechanical repairs
- Fault finding and troubleshooting machinery
- Repairing and replacing mechanical components
- Carrying out planned shutdown and maintenance work
- Minimising production downtime
- Working closely with production and maintenance teams
- Completing maintenance documentation as required
- Following all site safety procedures
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, FMCG, production or industrial environment
- Strong preventative maintenance experience
- Confident with breakdowns and fault finding
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts
- Flexibility to complete weekend work
- Strong safety focus
- Reliable and able to work well within a fast-paced environment
