About the Opportunity

n

We have an exciting chance for a Maintenance Team Leader to join the team working across our Seabrook RAC – Deception Bay. Reporting to the Regional Asset Manager, this role will ensure the condition and appearance of our homes are of the highest standard to provide a pleasant and safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.

- Hands-on repairs and maintenance
n
- Management and co-ordination of maintenance of the building and its environment
n
- High level of customer service to residents
n
- Maintenance of records and reports
n
- Budget management
n
- Provide leadership, supervision and co-ordinate site maintenance staff
n
- Comply with current legislative standards around maintenance, aged care workplace health & safety and manual handling
n

n

What do we need from you?

n

n
- Knowledge of maintenance procedure and commercial and domestic construction practice
n
- Experience in Contractor Management
n
- Knowledge of relevant legislation requirements,



codes & standards
n
- Understanding and empathy towards aged persons and their living requirements
n
- Relevant Certificate IV qualification and/or significant relevant experience
n
- Valid working rights and open manual driver's licence (Class C)
n
- Current national police check (or willing to obtain)
n
- Flu Vaccination (recommended)
n
- A pre-employment medical assessment may be required for this role
n
- Availability to participate in a shared on-call roster to ensure continuity of service
n
