Role Description The Education Manager – Correctional Delivery is a contract, in office role based in Sydney, NSW, responsible for overseeing the delivery of education programs within correctional environments. This position manages curriculum implementation, coordinates teaching schedules, and ensures learning activities align with accreditation and compliance requirements. The manager supports educators and facilitators through training, coaching, and feedback, while maintaining strong communication with correctional staff and external stakeholders.





Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring learner progress, resolving operational issues, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment, and contributing to continuous improvement of program content and delivery.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in Education and Curriculum Development, with experience designing and implementing vocational or adult learning programs.
- Strong Communication and Coaching skills to support educators, engage diverse learners, and collaborate effectively with correctional and external stakeholders.
- Proven Training experience, including facilitating workshops, onboarding educators, and maintaining high-quality teaching standards.
- Experience working in correctional, justice, or highly regulated environments is highly advantageous.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in education, training and assessment, or a related discipline, and current knowledge of adult learning principles.
- Ability to manage multiple programs, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation and reporting requirements.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, cultural safety, and trauma-informed practices in education settings.
