An exciting opportunity has become available at our Yeo Park Infants School. We are recruiting an Educator who will train as a Responsible Person. At TASK we strive to create joyful, secure, and inclusive child safe environments where children flourish outside school hours. Our success starts with exceptional people, and we're committed to supporting you at every step.

This is a permanent, part time Educator role offering 25 hours per week across before and after school care. You will need to be available every morning and every afternoon. This role has been created to give the service a dedicated staff member on site every day, and you will be trained as a Responsible Person.

You will be responsible for:

- Supervising and interacting with children aged 5 to 8 in enjoyable, safe and purposeful ways

- Taking Responsible Person duties once trained, including holding legal responsibility for the service while on shift

- Supporting routines like drop-off, snack and play

- Helping deliver creative and inclusive activities

- Building strong relationships with families and school staff

- Working with your team to keep the space calm and respectful

What we're looking for:

You are

- Experienced in OOSH, childcare or education, which is desirable rather than essential





- Available every morning and every afternoon

- Ready to take on Responsible Person duties, with training provided if you don't hold it yet

- Energetic, caring and reliable
- A strong communicator who works well in a team

Experience as a Responsible Person is a bonus.

You will need:

- A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)

- Completion certificate for Foundations of Child Safety Training (GECCKO)

- Current child protection training
- To be 18 years or over, as Responsible Persons must be 18 or over
