About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Egg Collector to join our farm team in Milang, South Australia.
This is a part-time position involving the collection, handling and general care of eggs within a commercial egg farm environment. The role is well suited to someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and is comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collecting eggs
- Handling and packing eggs carefully and efficiently
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within work areas
- Identifying and reporting damaged or unsuitable eggs
- Following farm procedures and workplace health and safety requirements
- Assisting with general farm duties as required
- Working efficiently to meet daily production requirements
This role is perfect for someone looking for a part time position for a few hours a day, a few times a week.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically capable of performing repetitive, hands-on work
- Comfortable working in a farm environment
- Able to follow instructions and workplace procedures
- Responsible and attentive to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Available to work Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Previous egg collection, poultry or farm experience is preferred but not essential. Being located in or around the Adelaide Hills / Fleurieu region is preferred due to the location of the farm, however this is not essential.
