About the role
This full-time, residential role based at Hay Point Coal Terminal supports the integrity of the operation’s engineering standards, drawings, systems and procedures, ensuring accurate documentation, effective change control, and specialist electrical engineering support. In this role, you will:
- Govern and control the asset integrity of the operation through identification and implementation of improvement initiatives
- Participate in reviews and audits and collaborate with discipline engineers across BMA
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to solve complex problems
- Develop and contribute to the delivery of improvement initiatives which support business priorities for continuous improvement
- Generate and review designs, technical assessments and reports to communicate requirements
- Establish and maintain close working relationships with relevant departments, suppliers, consultants and contractors
- Support the integrated delivery of projects by the site Engineering team, asset projects or major projects group as required
- Contribute to the development of the site's five year capital and operational budgets
- Ensure Safety, Constructability, Operability and Maintainability is preserved throughout the design lifecycle process
