About The Role

Based at Maules Creek Mine, we have multiple opportunities for HV Electricians to join our workshop maintenance team. Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and supporting the electrical systems across our growing mobile fleet featuring 44 x Hitachi EH5000’s & 5 x Hitachi EH3500 AC drive haul trucks supported by 4 x Cat 789D’s and ancillary equipment.

This is a hands-on workshop-based role suited to electricians who enjoy troubleshooting, working with complex electrical systems and being part of a supportive maintenance team.

Maules Creek is situated 40 minutes from the vibrant rural town of Gunnedah NSW, known for its agricultural prominence and strong sense of community and cultural heritage.

What You’ll Do

- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on fixed and mobile equipment
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative workshop maintenance team
- Carry out scheduled servicing and electrical inspections across workshop equipment
- Demonstrate visible safe working practices and a commitment to safety in the workplace




- Work independently to complete assigned work orders and maintenance tasks

What You’ll Bring

- Proficiency Certificate in an electrical trade
- Supervisor Certificate or Contractors Licence issued by Fair Trading NSW or mutual recognised equivalent interstate electrical licence
- Experience in mining, heavy industry or processing plant
- Solid problem solving, diagnostic and fault-finding skills
