About the Role

Are you passionate about designing innovative electronic solutions and seeing them through from concept to reality?

As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will lead the design, delivery and ongoing support of complex electronic systems across the full product lifecycle, from concept and prototyping through to production and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for electronic architecture, technical design decisions, design verification and validation activities, and ensuring solutions are delivered to meet functional, quality, regulatory and customer requirements.

Collaborating closely with Product, Software, Production, Quality and Compliance teams, you will deliver innovative, reliable, compliant and manufacturable solutions that meet customer and business needs. You will also support product industrialisation, manufacturing outcomes and ongoing improvements of Motium products throughout their lifecycle.

As a technical contributor, you will provide technical decision making while helping strengthen engineering capability, standards and best practice across the team. You will play a key role in ensuring electronic designs are delivered to a high standard of quality, performance and reliability.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be in a full time role with flexible working hours based at our office in Bentley.

What Are We Looking For?





Here are some of the things we think will make you likely to succeed in this role:

- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

- 5 years of experience designing complex electronic systems.

- Experience across the full product lifecycle from concept through to production and field support.

- Strong expertise in analogue, digital and power electronics design, including multi-layer PCB layout skills (multi-layer, impedance-controlled, high-power).

- Hands-on experience with prototyping, validation, testing and troubleshooting electronic systems.

- Proficiency with Altium Designer and modern electronic design tools.

- Demonstrated ability to make sound technical decisions and balance practical design trade-offs.

- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including software, firmware, manufacturing and product development.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to a range of stakeholders.

- Familiarity with relevant electronic products and quality standards such as IEC 61000, MIL-STD-810, and ISO9001.

- Relevant professional certifications or compliance-related training (i.e., EMC, safety standards) is desirable.
