With a history of over 160 years in the Australian and New Zealand sugar industries, Wilmar Sugar Australia operations span the value chain from sugar cane growing, sugar manufacturing, refining, exporting, and marketing, to the production of renewable electricity, ethanol and sustainable agricultural products.

To be more specific, Wilmar manufactures over half of Australia's raw sugar, and each year exports enough electricity to power more than 68,000 Australian homes for 12 months. As well as supplying ethanol (ethyl alcohol) to the growing fuel market in Australia, Wilmar also supplies a significant market share to various industries including the pharmaceutical, printing, cleaning, winery, aerosol, animal health and food and beverage industries.

Job Vacancy

We are currently seeking applications for an experienced Engineering Tradesperson Mechanical initially engaged at Inkerman Mill in the Burdekin Region. This permanent position is a day work position with overtime and some weekend work required.

It is essential that the person we are seeking has the relevant competencies, experience, and qualifications -Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical / Fitting and Turning Tradesperson. Our ideal candidate will have a proven high standard of performance,



self-motivation, attendance, and punctuality.

The Chance The following qualifications are required in some of our trade roles; however, we are prepared to provide training to people who possess the right aptitude and team fit:

- Dogging High Risk Work Licence (HRWL)
- Forklift HRWL
- Overhead Crane Ticket
- Welding Skills
