About Living Knowledge Network
Living Knowledge Network is a Community-led network activating Indigenous Knowledge solutions by supporting Communities to lead. Grounded in the world's oldest living knowledge systems, Living Knowledge Network works alongside Communities to strengthen cultural authority, revitalise traditional knowledge and create practical solutions for the challenges we face today.
After several years of planning and development, the Living Knowledge Place is launching a subscription-based online learning platform for primary schools across Australia. The platform delivers curriculum-mapped Indigenous content, traditional knowledge, and cultural practices, developed in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and knowledge holders, and designed to support teachers in delivering culturally grounded, accurate, and engaging learning experiences.
About the role
Living Knowledge Place is moving from development into a pilot and testing phase, with further product development, national launch and scale-up to follow. This is a rare opportunity to help build a genuinely new category of education product from the ground up — one grounded in cultural integrity, community consent and long-term benefit-sharing with the communities whose knowledge it shares.
The LKP Enterprise Development Coordinator will play a key role in the development, operationalisation and launch of the Living Knowledge Place platform. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, the role will coordinate pilot testing, support the implementation of subscription and pricing models, assist in building school engagement and partnership opportunities,
and contribute to the systems and processes needed to support the platform's successful launch and sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of the go-to-market and subscription/pricing strategy for primary schools nationally, including state and sector-based approaches (government, Catholic, independent)
- Coordinate the school-engagement pipeline, from pilot schools through to national rollout
- Assist with research, analysis and implementation of pricing, licensing and subscription approaches developed by leadership
- Support the identification and development of strategic partnerships, grants and blended-finance opportunities to support platform growth
- Support the transition of the platform from pilot/testing into full operational delivery, working with technology and content development partners
- Coordinate the pilot and testing phase with schools — recruitment, feedback loops, reporting, and iteration
- Implement and maintain operational systems and processes for subscriber management, billing, customer support and platform administration
- Manage project timelines, budgets and risk across the development, pilot and launch phases
- Work within the organisation's cultural governance framework to ensure all content, marketing and commercial activity respects ICIP and Indigenous Data Sovereignty principles
About you
- Experience with business development, customer engagement, product implementation or growth initiatives, ideally within a subscription-based, education, technology or similar environment
- Demonstrated experience with the implementation, rollout, evaluation or growth of a product, service, program or initiative
- Experience working respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities, organisations or knowledge holders, or a robust demonstrated commitment to developing this experience
- Demonstrated commercial awareness, including experience contributing to budgeting, reporting, pricing considerations, business planning or growth initiatives
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, including with school leaders, government, community organisations and external partners
- High level of self-direction, comfortable operating in a growing, evolving organisation
- Current unrestricted driver's licence
- Desirable: Experience in education sector, particularly primary schools, curriculum bodies or edtech
- Desirable: Experience establishing operational systems (CRM, billing/subscription platforms, support systems) for a growing product or business.
