As Zenith continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk Manager to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Zenith’s enterprise risk management framework.

About The Role

Reporting to the Legal General Counsel, you will own and set Zenith’s enterprise risk management framework and lead its implementation, embedding and ongoing improvement across the business.

This is a key role partnering with leaders across corporate, operational and project environments to identify, assess, treat, monitor and report material strategic, operational, financial, project and compliance risks.

You will provide practical, high-quality risk insight that supports sound decision-making, resilience and governance, while uplifting risk culture and capability across the business.

You will also work closely with functional risk coordinators and project-level risk roles to ensure Zenith’s risk framework, methodology, taxonomy, appetite parameters and reporting standards are applied consistently.

Main Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and continuously improve Zenith’s enterprise risk management framework, policy, standards, taxonomy, tools, templates and annual risk calendar.
- Embed consistent risk management practices across corporate, operational and project environments.
- Facilitate risk workshops and structured risk assessments with leaders and subject matter experts.
- Support risk owners to identify material risks, evaluate likelihood and consequence, and define effective controls and treatment actions.
- Maintain enterprise and functional risk registers,



risk reporting packs and dashboards.
- Prepare concise and insightful reporting for executive and governance forums.
- Analyse key exposures, trends, emerging risks, overdue actions, control gaps and treatment progress.
- Escalate material risk issues, control gaps or treatment slippage to the Legal General Counsel and relevant leaders.
- Build enterprise risk capability through training, guidance, coaching and practical support.
- Drive a proactive risk culture that supports accountability, transparency, informed decision-making and timely escalation.

About You You will be an experienced risk, governance, assurance or compliance qualified who is ready to bring structure, energy and practical judgement to a growing operational business. You will be comfortable working in an environment where not everything is already established, and where success will require you to build effective relationships, ask the right questions and help leaders make informed decisions.

You will bring

- Demonstrated experience in enterprise risk management, governance, assurance, compliance or a closely related discipline.
- Experience embedding or uplifting enterprise risk frameworks, policies and risk registers across a multi-site or operational business.
- Experience facilitating risk workshops and partnering with senior stakeholders to define controls, treatment actions and risk reporting.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise risk management principles, methodologies and governance practices.
- The ability to analyse information, identify themes and present clear,



practical risk insights to different audiences.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, communication and report writing skills.
- Strong planning, organisation and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A tertiary qualification in Law, Commerce, Business, Finance, Risk Management, Governance or a related discipline.
- Current right to work in Australia.
- Experience in the energy, utilities, infrastructure, construction, mining or resources sectors will be highly regarded, as will experience supporting executive, board or committee risk reporting.
- Knowledge of ISO 31000, the three lines model, risk appetite concepts, GRC systems or reporting tools would also be advantageous.
