About The Role

We’re looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Entry Level Caseworker to join our Staying Home Leaving Violence (SHLV) team on the Central Coast. The program aims to support women and children affected by domestic and family violence to remain safely in their home, or a home of their choosing while also supporting them recover from their experiences of violence.

Victim Survivors are supported through client centred case management and advocacy that walks alongside them to address their safety needs and achieve their personal goals while addressing barriers such as access to stable accommodation, maintenance of support networks, employment, and access to education and childcare through promoting empowerment and trauma informed casework.

This permanent full-time position will be based in Tuggerah and involves meeting clients in the office but also travel to support clients in their homes and communities across the Central Coast.

While you will receive relevant training and hands-on experience, preference will be given to candidates with background in trauma-informed, client-centered support to individuals and families facing complex challenges, particularly DV.

What You’ll Need

- Diploma or Degree qualifications in Social Work, Community Services, Psychology, Social Sciences (or related field).
- Some relevant casework experience or a robust willingness to learn.
- Background in mental health, DFV, homelessness, or family preservation.
- Strong advocacy and stakeholder engagement skills.
- NSW Driver’s Licence and insured vehicle.
