Live in SolidWorks, and design jigs and fixtures that work on the shop floor rather than just on screen

Produce drawings a manufacturer can quote and build from without picking up the phone

Model subassemblies and interface components that have to fit into a much bigger system

Land running, with no ramp-up period and no hand-holding

Document your work clearly enough that someone else can pick it up cold
