Sales Executive

Hours:

38 hours per week

Location:

Curzon Hall, Marsfield

Salary:

$60,000–$80,000 per annum, based on experience and level of expertise + Monthly sales commission + annual sales bonus

Work Pattern:

4 days worked during the week, with one rostered day off during the week, plus one rostered weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, commercially driven and customer-focused

Sales Executive

to join our team at

Curzon Hall

on a full-time permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales skilled who enjoys building relationships, converting enquiries into bookings and creating exceptional experiences for clients. As Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating revenue by securing bookings across

weddings, corporate events, celebrations and other special occasions

at Curzon Hall. You will manage the

full sales cycle , from the initial enquiry through to consultation, venue inspection, proposal, negotiation, contract and confirmed booking. The role combines

inbound sales and proactive business development , giving you the opportunity to work with new enquiries while also generating new business through outbound calls, follow-ups, previous client engagement, networking and prospecting. Key Responsibilities





Connect with people

— respond to new enquiries quickly, build rapport and take ownership of every lead from first contact through to confirmed booking.

Get clients through the doors

— connect with the client, follow up leads, book appointments and venue tours, and create an exciting experience from the very first conversation.

Showcase Curzon Hall

and bring our beautiful heritage venue to life, taking clients through the spaces and helping them imagine their wedding or event happening here.

Turn a venue tour into a

“we can see ourselves here!” moment

by sharing ideas, possibilities, packages and creative event solutions.

Prepare and present proposals, quotations, brochures and contracts that bring the client’s vision and event requirements together.

Be the venue expert

— confidently advise clients on packages, pricing, menus, capacities, floor plans, styling, inclusions and venue capabilities.

Sell the dream, not just the venue

— identify opportunities to enhance the event through upgrades, packages, styling, services and other experiences.

Proactively generate new business through outbound calls, follow-ups, networking, referrals, prospecting and other business development activities.

Reconnect with previous clients and create new opportunities across

weddings, corporate events, celebrations and other special occasions .

Keep on top of your leads —

no enquiry gets forgotten . Every client should have a clear next step and timely follow-up.

Keep the CRM up to date with client conversations, calls, emails,



appointments, proposals, requirements, follow-ups and booking activity.

Provide accurate pipeline updates, sales forecasts and reporting, and actively participate in weekly sales meetings.

About You

Previous experience in sales, events, hospitality, venues, hotels or a related customer-focused environment.

A positive, enthusiastic and can-do attitude.

Ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively as part of a team.

Robust interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and establish strong relationships with clients.

Professional, friendly and customer-focused approach.

Competitive salary of $60,000–$80,000 + Super, depending on experience.

Uncapped commission with genuine earning potential of $10,000–$40,000+ per year, paid monthly.
