An exciting opportunity is available for a Maintenance Coordinator to join the Engineering team in Rutherford. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will coordinate preventive maintenance programs, manage CMMS work orders and maintenance schedules, oversee spare parts inventory, support contractors and engineering projects, and ensure maintenance systems remain compliant within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.

Duties

- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and work orders through the CMMS.
n
- Manage maintenance planning activities and ensure PM schedules are completed on time.
n
- Coordinate breakdown maintenance activities and support troubleshooting across manufacturing operations.
n
- Manage spare parts inventory, stock control and cycle counting activities.
n
- Coordinate external contractors and maintenance service providers.
n
- Support calibration programs and maintenance system improvements.
n
- Assist with capital projects, including equipment installation, commissioning and qualification activities.
n
- Support GMP compliance through audits, deviations and change controls.

- Participate in continuous improvement, safety and risk management initiatives.
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Engineering, technical or trade qualifications (highly regarded)
n
- Experience as a Maintenance Coordinator, Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Scheduler or similar role within manufacturing.
n
- Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food or other GMP-regulated manufacturing environments (highly regarded)
n
- Robust CMMS experience, including work order management and preventive maintenance scheduling.
n
- Experience coordinating maintenance activities, contractors and spare parts inventory.
n
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
n
- Exposure to calibration, commissioning, validation or capital projects (highly regarded)
