Venues NSW is a commerically focused agency of the NSW Government, encompassing the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium as well as major sporting and cultural stadiums and precincts in Sydney, Olympic Park, Parramatta, Newcastle and Wollongong. The network of stadiums and entertainment centres host in excess of 5 million people a year at more than 500 events and is a key contributor to the economy.

Venues NSW takes an intergrated approach to our stadia and entertainment centres by developing partnerships with sporting codes, the entertainment and event industry, audiences, local businesses, NSW Government agencies and community groups. Our network throughout NSW allows us to combine internal resources and harness a vast employee skillset all of which helps us deliver key projects and secure outstanding content.

ABOUT THE ROLE The Business Development and Marketing Coordinator supports the acquisitions, marketing and event delivery activities for WIN Stadium and Entertainment Centre, helping to promote, events, functions and other commercial opportunities. This role will work across a range of business development and marketing initiatives, supporting client engagement, digital marketing, event promotion and venue operations.

You will provide high-quality administrative and logistical support across business development, acquisitions, marketing, ticketing and event functions. You will also assist with the development and delivery of marketing campaigns, digital content, eDMs, newsletters, social media and website updates, while supporting venue hirers and responding to client enquiries.





Working closely with internal teams, clients, local media and external stakeholders, you will help drive venue occupancy, commercial opportunities and positive customer experiences. The role will also support event delivery, including occasional weeknight and weekend work.

This is a 12 month fixed term role.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded marketing professional who is passionate about sports, entertainment and delivering engaging customer experiences.

You will have strong digital marketing knowledge, excellent project and time management skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Proven digital marketing experience, preferably in sports or entertainment
- Experience with CRM, email marketing and data management
- Demonstrated experience in lead generation, customer acquisition and retention
- Knowledge of social media, email and search marketing channels
- Experience with customer journey mapping and digital channel planning
- Knowledge of web analytics and using data to generate insights and reports
- Excellent project, time management and communication skills




- Robust business acumen and a proactive, customer-focused approach
- Interest in the sports, entertainment and events industry
- Flexibility to support occasional weeknight and weekend events.
