Remuneration: $91,326 – $121,497 per annum

Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing

As Executive Assistant to the General Manager, Mental Health Services, you’ll provide high-level executive, administrative and governance support, helping coordinate priorities and keep critical business activities moving.

- Proactively manage complex diaries, competing priorities, appointments and time-critical commitments

- Coordinate executive workflows, reporting, correspondence, governance documentation, action registers and deadlines

- Prepare and coordinate high-quality correspondence, reports, presentations, briefing papers, agendas and meeting minutes

- Manage sensitive and confidential matters with discretion, sound judgement and initiative, escalating risks and emerging issues when required





- Coordinate executive meetings, stakeholder communication, travel and logistics while supporting projects and organisational priorities

How to Apply

1. Demonstrated experience providing high-level executive, governance and administrative support to a senior executive within a complex organisation, preferably within NSW Health or a similarly large and multifaceted setting, including the coordination of executive correspondence, reporting, meetings and business operations.

2. Highly developed planning, prioritisation and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing demands, coordinate complex executive calendars, anticipate requirements, meet critical deadlines and optimise the effective use of executive time.

3. Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to prepare clear, accurate and timely correspondence, reports, briefing papers, meeting papers and minutes, and build effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

4. Managing competing priorities and deadlines in a complex executive support environment, establishing productive relationships with senior executives, managers, staff,



executive support teams and external stakeholders while managing competing expectations in a professional manner.

5. Proven ability to exercise sound judgement, initiative and discretion, including managing sensitive and confidential matters, identifying emerging issues, evaluating risks and determining appropriate escalation pathways.

6. Demonstrated knowledge and application of governance, records management and administrative processes, including the coordination of actions, monitoring of compliance requirements and support of organisational accountability frameworks.

7. Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects, executive meetings, committees and organisational initiatives, including the preparation of agendas and papers, minute taking, action tracking and supporting the delivery of agreed outcomes within required timeframes.

8. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic information and records management systems, with the ability to utilise technology to improve business processes, information management and executive support services and Desirable Drivers License.
