Direct 2 Consumer (D2C) is an award-winning marketing agency, and we are looking for Experienced Demo Chef / Cooking Presenter to represent a global client at the Good Food and Wine Show in Brisbane in October, Friday 23th - Sunday 25th .
We're looking for a charismatic and highly confident Demo Chef & Presenter for a major consumer trade show in Brisbane.
This role is equal parts chef, presenter and performer.
You'll be conducting live cooking demonstrations throughout the event, showcasing premium cookware and kitchen products while engaging and entertaining visitors.
We're not looking for someone who can simply cook. We're looking for someone who can confidently hold a crowd, speak while cooking, create energy around the stand, and bring products to life through demonstration.
About You
- Have strong cooking skills and excellent knife skills
- Are comfortable preparing simple dishes without extensive rehearsal
- Can confidently cook and present at the same time
- Are outgoing, energetic and naturally charismatic
- Enjoy engaging with crowds and answering questions
- Can think on your feet and adapt as needed
- Have a professional and polished presence
The dishes demonstrated will be relatively simple, however we're looking for someone who is confident enough in the kitchen to work comfortably in a live setting.
Highly Regarded
- Previous demo chef experience
- Cooking classes or culinary training
- Food and lifestyle events
- Brand ambassador or product demonstration experience
- TV, media, social media or presenting experience
- Any role involving live audience engagement
Event Details

- Paid training session prior to event (date TBC)
- Approximately 9:00am - 5:00pm daily (TBC)
- Black shirt, black pants, black shoes (uniform will be provided)
