Experienced Dental Assistant A career, not just another chairside role.

The Littleton Cole Dental Centre is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our small senior clinical team in a long-term position. We are a boutique Brisbane practice led by Dr Anne-Maree Cole and Dr Matthew Littleton, supporting patients with complex needs including TMD, airway and sleep concerns, aesthetic and rehabilitative restorative dentistry, worn dentition and full-arch implant care.

About the role

· Aesthetic and rehabilitative restorative procedures.

· Neuromuscular and TMD-related care.

· Implant and full-arch treatment workflows.

· Sedation and relative-analgesia procedures.

· Patient preparation and clinical support.

· Digital intraoral scanning workflows, including scanner preparation and support.

· Clinical photography and digital records.

· Surgery preparation, room turnover and clinical readiness.

· Instrument processing and sterilisation to a consistently high standard.

· Stock management and preparation of clinical materials.

· Accurate and privacy-conscious handling of clinical records and images.

What you will bring

· Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting, or solid equivalent experience.

· Demonstrated dental-assisting experience in a busy clinical environment.

· Confidence with chairside assisting and surgery preparation.

· Strong understanding of infection control, instrument processing and clean/dirty-zone boundaries.

· Excellent attention to detail and reliable follow-through.

· A calm, precise and unflappable manner.

· Confidence learning digital clinical systems and equipment.

· A genuine interest in aesthetic, restorative, implant, TMD, airway and sleep dentistry.





· Professional communication with patients and colleagues.

· A willingness to learn the practice’s systems and contribute positively to the whole team.

Qualifications and employment details A current radiography licence is desirable. Experience with CBCT, digital scanning, clinical photography, implant procedures or sedation support will be highly regarded.

The role is full-time across a nine-day fortnight, with no Saturday or Sunday work. Start date is ASAP. The role is intended to be covered by the Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020 [MA000027], subject to confirmation of the applicable classification and pay point.
