Stella’s Kitchen | Lysterfield

Stella’s Kitchen is looking for an experienced and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our busy kitchen team, working 3–4 days per week.

We are a high-volume, quick-paced breakfast and lunch venue, so we need someone experienced in a commercial kitchen who can work quickly, efficiently and maintain exceptionally high cleaning standards.

THE ROLE INCLUDES:

- Dishwashing and maintaining a fast, organised wash area
- Basic food preparation and assisting chefs with prep
- Cleaning and sanitising kitchen areas and equipment
- Mopping, scrubbing and deep cleaning
- Emptying bins and maintaining waste areas
- Keeping floors, cool rooms, storage and work areas spotless
- Putting deliveries and stock away
- Assisting the kitchen team wherever required
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout every shift

YOU MUST:

- Have previous Kitchen Hand experience in a busy, fast-paced commercial kitchen
- Be fast, productive, organised and hardworking
- Have excellent attention to detail




- Be confident completing basic food preparation
- Be physically capable of keeping up with a busy service
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be available to work BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
- Have your own car and reliable transport to and from work

PLEASE NOTE: Stella’s is not easily accessible by public transport, with the nearest suitable public transport approximately a 45-minute walk away. Having your own vehicle is therefore essential for this position. 3–4 DAYS PER WEEK
