We are currently seeking a reliable HR/MR Driver for early morning bread distribution across Townsville and surrounding areas.
This role involves delivering fresh bread and bakery products to supermarkets and commercial customers. The work is consistent and ideal for drivers who prefer early starts and finishing by mid-morning.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Sort out bread orders
- Load bread trays at the depot
- Deliver bread to allocated stores as per run sheet
- Unload and deliver products correctly
- Collect and return empty bread crates
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and equipment
- Follow road safety and food handling requirements
Requirements
- Must be located in Townsville
- Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident
- Valid MR/HR Licence (mandatory)
- Clean police record (police check may be required)
- Previous bread, food, or multi-drop delivery experience preferred
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Bread delivery experience is preferred
- Available for early morning starts
Work Schedule
- Early morning start
- Shifts approx. 7.5-8 hours on weekdays and 5-6 hours on Sundays.
- Ongoing consistent work available
