We are seeking a motivated, energetic and customer-focused manager to join our team and drive the day-to-day operations of a large Motel composed of accommodation rooms of various configurations.

As a hands-on Hotel Manager you will drive performance & oversee revenue growth, guest experiences, property standards whilst ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. Your leadership will be key in maintaining high occupancy rates, optimising pricing strategies, and delivering outstanding service.

This is a live-in full-time role with a competitive salary package on offer. The remuneration package includes a market-competitive salary, an additional incentive/bonus based on KPIs and a 1 bedroom apartment including all utilities.

This position is based in Maitland, NSW.

This role is ideally suited to an individual with strong business acumen seeking an enjoyable and challenging work environment in a growing regional Australian town.

It will both challenge and reward you if you are able to increase the service & presentation standards, improve the customer focussed culture and achieve the KPIs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Overseeing daily operations of the motel, including sales & marketing, reservations, reception, housekeeping, public area cleaning, repairs & maintenance, gardens & grounds and staff management.
- Ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction
- Managing budgets, financial reporting and cost control
- Managing sales channels through Protel PMS including Siteminder, Booking.com, Expedia, and GDS.




- Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and security throughout the property.
- Ability to recruit, train, mentor and manage a team & create a good culture

The ideal candidate(s) will possess the following skills and qualifications:

- Previous experience in motel or accommodation management
- Experience and hands-on skills are a mandatory requirement
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Robust financial and budgeting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Computer skills including knowledge Microsoft Office suite, Protel PMS, Siteminder, Booking.com, Expedia, GDS & other booking channels
