Mainspray is a Bunbury-based vegetation management contractor. We're hiring experienced operators for immediate start.

We need:

- Tractor/slasher operator and/or boom spray operator. Great if you can do both, either is fine at this stage. Genuine hands-on experience required, not looking to train from scratch
- Licensed pest control technicians (or ChemCert/AQF3 Chemical Application certified for vegetation spraying)
- Own reliable transport to and from the work yard. A work vehicle is provided for on-the-job activities
- Will be working alongside a mentor most of the time, but must be comfortable working independently when required, South West WA
- Open to travel, including occasional camping away from home for work

What you'll be doing:

- Verge, median and roadside vegetation slashing/mowing
- Herbicide application on contracted MRWA/council/private sites
- Working to a schedule with minimal supervision once inducted

Pay: Starting at $35/hr flat rate, inclusive of allowances. Travel and meal allowances paid on top.

- No trainee positions, no "keen to learn" applicants without tickets
- No labour-hire runaround. You deal directly with the business owner

- Must be able to use a tablet daily to complete digital forms, and have solid reading, writing and spelling skills.
- Must be able to work away from home for a few nights periodically, including camping in office when required.
- Must be able to complete pre-employment medical screening and periodic drug testing and ongoing medicals.

Experience:
- Vegetation Control: 2 years (Required)

Licence/Certification:
- Pest Technician Licence (Preferred)
- Full Driver Licence (Required)
