Full Time Nanny/Housekeeper Hawthorne Brisbane

Start Date: Friday 2nd October 2026 (Handover day ahead of official start)
n Children: Girl (10 ) & Boy (7)
n Driving: Essential - ideally with their own car

We are seeking a happy, positive, and reliable Nanny / Housekeeper for a busy professional family based in Hawthorne. Both parents are surgeons with early starts and variable schedules, making a dependable and organised nanny a key part of their household.

The family includes a bubbly 10-year-old girl and an active 7-year-old boy. The children are well-accustomed to nannies, polite, non-picky eaters, and have no allergies or special needs. This role is ideal for a proactive candidate who enjoys interacting with school-aged children, maintains clear boundaries, and can manage daily household duties efficiently.

The Role & Schedule

n

4 days per week
n Typically Monday through Thursday (with Fridays mostly off).
n 30 hours per week
n Hours are between 7:00am to 6:30pm
n Middle-of-the-day hours free
n offer flexibility for house management duties (can be completed post-morning drop-off or prior to afternoon pick-up).
n Ability to work additional hours during school holiday periods may be required.

Duties

n

Handling school drop-offs and pick-ups (particularly for the 7-year-old) and driving to afternoon activities (swimming, soccer, basketball, etc.).
n Preparing and cooking healthy, balanced daily breakfasts and dinners for the children.




n Managing daily family laundry (washing, drying, folding, and putting away children's clothes).
n Ironing school uniforms and changing children's bed sheets weekly.
n Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy, and organized (benches, dishwasher, meal prep cleanup).
n The family have a weekly cleaner.

Requirements

n

We are looking for an organised and reliable nanny with excellent communication skills. Valid driver's licence with a strong driving record.
n Up-to-date immunisations (essential).
n Strong time-management skills to balance childcare and household tasks seamlessly.
n Korean-speaking candidates are welcome to apply.
