About the Opportunity

n

An opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Health Nurse to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. This site-based role reports to the Senior Health, Safety & Training Advisor and operates on an 8:6 roster.

n

Your focus will be on providing health care, medical support, and advice to site personnel.

n

This is a 12-month contract with the potential to become a permanent position.

n

Your primary responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Conducting pre-employment assessments, drug and alcohol tests, and exit medicals, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
n
- Delivering health surveillance for at-risk personnel (e.g. lead, noise, lung function).
n
- Providing in office medical treatment and first aid in line with procedures, legislation, and guidelines.
n
- Managing injuries, workers' compensation cases, and return-to-work plans with the Injury Management Coordinator and external providers.
n
- Coordinating medical response plans, conducting risk assessments, and providing 24/7 on-call coverage as required.
n
- Overseeing the medical clinic, including stock, equipment, and facility maintenance.

About You

n

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced nurse with exposure to working in remote areas or in a site-based nursing role.

n

Other key skills, experience,



and qualifications:

n

n
- A tertiary qualification in nursing.
n
- Experience in triage, including the ability to assess and prioritise patient needs.
n
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
n
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) competency.
n
- Completion of an accredited course in drug and alcohol testing.
n
- A current C-class manual driver's licence.
n
