Seeking a full-time, hands‐on Housekeeping Manager for ACCOR - Mantra Meridien and BreakFree North Adelaide properties; you'll lead a dedicated team in delivering spotless, safe and welcoming spaces, driving high standards and guest satisfaction while working closely with our General and Maintenance Manager.

Key responsibilities

n

Manage and oversee the housekeeping team, including scheduling, training, and rostering. Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

n

Implement cleaning standards and foster productivity, motivation, and qualified growth among all Housekeeping Team Members

n

Procurement of cleaning supplies, linens, and other housekeeping‐related inventory while managing budgets & controlling expenses to achieve budget targets and KPI's

n

Adhere to compliance with chemical safety and Occupational Health & Safety regulations; ensure that all team members follow safety protocols

n

Track labour expenses and productivity relative to occupancy rates, while also conducting daily inspections to assess room cleanliness standards

n

Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards to maintain exceptional cleanliness throughout the hotel. Utilize Opera and Flexkeeping systems reports and documentation

n

Investigate and resolve any housekeeping‐related guest complaints - internal & external

n

Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency and productivity within the housekeeping department

n

About you

n





Minimum of 2 years' experience in a housekeeping management role within the hospitality industry

n

Exhibit outstanding communication, interpersonal, and time management abilities, coupled with a friendly and approachable demeanor

n

Display a solution‐based mindset with adaptability to ensure seamless daily operations

n

Balance effective leadership with a collaborative team spirit, actively engaging in hands‐on support to ensure the team's success

n

Able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required with a driver's license

n

Proficient in inventory management and budgeting

n
