You’ll carry out day‑to‑day road and drainage maintenance, respond to urgent work when needed, and operate Council plant, vehicles and tools safely.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver road construction and maintenance works—including pothole repairs, pavement and shoulder maintenance, drainage works and bitumen patching.
- Assist with traffic control implementation in accordance with approved traffic schemes and safety requirements.
- Provide courteous and skilled customer service in the field, escalating issues through the Team Leader when required.
What you need
- Prior experience in outdoor operations, construction, maintenance, or a similar field.
- Current MR licence and willingness to work locations across Hervey Bay, Maryborough, Tiaro and Oakhurst.
