Join a supportive and collaborative finance team based in Crows Nest/St Leonard's offering 1 day working from home + very close to public transport. This is a permanent Assistant Accountant opportunity, ideal for someone looking to build on their accounting foundations and grow their career within a stable organisation. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end processes, and assisting with a broad range of accounting and finance duties. This role offers exposure across the finance function and the prospect to develop your technical skills in a professional environment. Responsibilities





Oversea Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes Support month-end and year-end close activities Complete allocated Balance Sheet Reconciliations Prepare and process journal entries to ensure accurate general ledger records Assist with supplier payments and maintain up-to-date accounts payable invoices Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis Respond to internal and external queries regarding financial transactions Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Provide support during audit and tax engagements Perform general administrative duties to support the finance function About you

Previous experience in a similar Assistant Accountant Good work ethic, fast-learner and keen to get stuck into the role! Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn Either completed CPA/CA or working towards Benefits
