Job Summary

DWS is seeking an experienced Mobile Automation Test Manager to lead testing and quality engineering initiatives across customer-facing mobile and digital platforms.
n This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced automation professional who can define and execute enterprise-wide test automation strategies while driving quality outcomes across iOS, Android, and web applications. You'll play a key role in shaping automation-first practices, building scalable frameworks, mentoring teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery across complex digital environments.
n Working within a large-scale enterprise program, you'll provide technical leadership across mobile automation, influence testing strategy, and help drive continuous improvement in quality engineering practices.

n Salary: Up to $760/day (ACN) or up to $180K package (Max Term)

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Define and implement the overall test automation strategy and roadmap.
n
- Lead and mentor automation testing teams across multiple projects.
n
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks across mobile and web platforms.
n
- Establish quality assurance standards, processes, and best practices.
n
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Project Managers to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
n
- Review test plans, test cases, automation scripts, and execution outcomes.
n
- Track and report testing progress, quality metrics, risks, and defects to stakeholders.
n
- Drive continuous integration and continuous testing practices within DevOps pipelines.
n
- Manage test environments, test data, and automation toolsets.
n
- Support release planning, production deployments, and defect management activities.
n
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation optimisation.
n




- Champion automation-first quality engineering practices across delivery teams.
n

Required Technical Skills

n

n
- Strong hands-on experience delivering automated testing solutions for mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.
n
- Expert-level experience with WebdriverIO and Appium for mobile automation.
n
- Solid hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium for web application automation.
n
- Experience building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks using JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
n
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and quality engineering principles.
n
- Experience testing customer-facing digital products, mobile applications, and self-service platforms.
n
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and contemporary DevOps environments.
n
- Experience with GitHub and source control practices.
n
- Knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools.
n

Preferred Experience

n

- CI/CD tools including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
n
- API automation using Postman or Apidog.
n
- Device farm platforms including BrowserStack, LambdaTest, or TestMu.
n
- Exposure to BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
n
- Experience within banking, financial services, insurance, or other highly regulated environments.
n
- Exposure to cloud-based environments and modern DevOps practices.
n
- Performance and accessibility testing experience.
n
- Experience working within large enterprise transformation programmes.
n
