Job Description

AFlash Fire is looking for an experienced Sprinkler Fitter to join our team, with a primary focus on new construction projects.

We're after someone who knows their trade, takes pride in quality installations and works well with other trades to keep projects moving.

About the role

n

You'll carry out fire sprinkler and hydrant system installation works on construction sites, working with our team, builders and other trades to deliver projects safely and to a high standard.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Installing sprinkler pipework, fittings, valves, supports and sprinkler heads.
n
- Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications and site layouts.
n
- Setting out installations and coordinating pipework with other building services.
n
- Identifying clashes and raising site issues early.
n
- Carrying out pressure testing, flushing and assisting with commissioning and handover.
n
- Keeping accurate records of progress and installation changes.
n
- Following site safety requirements and maintaining a tidy work area.
n

About you

n

You'll bring:

n

n
- Relevant trade qualifications and licences for sprinkler fitting work.
n
- Proven experience installing fire sprinkler systems on new construction projects.
n
- Confidence reading drawings and setting out work accurately.
n
- A sound understanding of relevant installation standards, including AS 2118.
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a site team.
n
- A current driver's licence and Construction White Card.
n
- Reliability, good communication and pride in your workmanship.
n

EWP and working at heights qualifications will be highly regarded.
