Construction Project Manager - Pizza Hut (Based in Sydney or Brisbane)

Pizza Hut is changing. Fast.

n

We've launched a $10 million transformation of our Australian restaurant network, rolling out a bold new restaurant experience across the country. In September alone, 75 restaurants were transformed and 'unboxed' on the same night.

n

We're planning to open 100 new Pizza Hut restaurants across Australia over the next five years, while continuing to transform our existing network. That means new restaurants. New formats. A new look and feel. And new customer experiences.

n

There is a lot to build. And we're looking for a Construction Project Manager to help us build it.

n

This isn't a BAU construction role. You'll be right in the middle of one of the biggest periods of investment and change in Pizza Hut's history.

n

You'll take restaurants from a plan on a screen to opening day — managing new builds, relocations, refurbishments and major remodels across the country.

n

One week you might be working through the design of a new restaurant. The next, solving a construction issue on site, challenging a tender, finding a smarter way to build something or pushing a project across the line for opening.

n

You'll work with franchisees, designers, consultants, contractors and suppliers, with real ownership of the outcome.

n

You'll be able to drive past restaurants across Australia and say: "I built that."

What you'll own:

n

Deliver new restaurants, refurbishments and remodels from planning through to opening

n

Own project scope, programme, CAPEX and construction risk

n

Lead consultants, contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders

n

Run tenders, contractor selection and procurement

n

Review designs and technical documentation and help turn great concepts into buildable restaurants

n





Drive value engineering and challenge us to find smarter ways to build

n

Manage construction, site inspections, handovers and defects

n

Keep projects moving when the inevitable problems appear

n

Help evolve how Pizza Hut designs and delivers restaurants as our development programme scales

n

The expectation is simple: build great restaurants, in exceptional locations, in partnership with our Franchisees.

Who we're looking for:

n

You'll ideally have 5+ years' construction project management experience, preferably across restaurants, retail, hospitality or another fast-moving multi-site environment.

n

You know how to manage a programme, budget and contractor. You can read drawings, understand what's happening on a construction site and make decisions when the answer isn't sitting neatly in a project plan.

n

You'll need strong commercial judgement, attention to detail and the confidence to challenge consultants and contractors when something doesn't stack up.

n

Most importantly, you take ownership.

n

Experience with AutoCAD or similar software is valuable, as is experience with project management platforms such as Monday.com.
