Slide Easy is a rapidly growing mobile repair business specialising in sliding doors, security doors, windows and associated hardware.

n

We service customers across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, and we're looking for a motivated person to join our team as a Trade Assistant, with the opportunity to develop into a fully trained Door & Window Technician.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

n

n
- Assist our technicians with onsite repairs and installations
n
- Learn how to repair and service sliding doors and windows
n
- Learn to use hand and power tools
n
- Help with measuring, cutting and fitting materials
n
- Load and maintain tools, equipment and van stock
n
- Keep the work vehicle and equipment organised
n
- Communicate professionally with customers
n
- Work at residential and commercial properties
n
- Gradually take on more responsibility as your skills develop
n
- Eventually operate your own fully equipped Slide Easy mobile van
n

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

n

You don't necessarily need previous experience in this exact trade.

n

We're looking for someone who is:

n

- Reliable and punctual
n
- Practical and mechanically minded
n
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools - or keen to learn
n
- Physically capable of performing hands-on work
n
- Well presented and professional with customers
n
- A good communicator
n
- Able to work independently once trained
n
- Someone who takes pride in doing a quality job
n
- Keen to learn a specialised trade and build a career
n

n

Previous experience in carpentry, glazing, aluminium, building, construction,



maintenance, handyman work, fencing, mechanics or another hands-on trade would be an advantage, but is not essential.

n

A driver's licence is required.
