About the role:

We are seeking an experienced building & pest inspector to join our team in Newcastle and Central Coast. Successful applicants will use their building & pest inspection experience and qualifications to conduct pre-purchase and new home construction stage inspections.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

- Pre-purchase building & pest Inspections
- Construction Stage Inspections (non-certifying)
- Complete detailed assessment reports using our user-friendly software
- Noting building defects, pests, defective building work or maintenance-related issues
- Qualified presentation and communication with clients at all times.
- Income at a good rate
- simcard to be provided by us
- No need to spend time on bookings, liaising,



etc., we do everything.
- All reports are complete on the iPad and submitted via online portal, no need to travel to/from the office.

Skills/Requirements:

- Civil/structural engineering or building surveying licences and background (an advantage but not mandatory)
- A minimum of a Diploma, Degree, or Tertiary Qualification in Building, and Engineering; trade qualifications are highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation of complex reports, Scott Schedules, and estimates.
- In-depth understanding of the NCC and Australian Standards.
- Experienced in using Cordell or Rawlinson Cost estimate guides
- Experienced in attending hearings and mediations.
- Outstanding analytical, logical, and reasoning skills.
- Ability to travel within the Newcastle and Central Coast areas for site visits.
- Must have at least 3 or more years of experience in Building and Pest Inspection
- Working independently
