Experienced Fire Technician looking for a change?

We’re looking for an experienced Fire Technician to join our Brisbane team. This is a permanent full-time role offering competitive rates, company vehicle, with varied work across testing, servicing, fault finding, fire detection systems and project installations.

We’re a growing business, but our Brisbane North & Ipswich operation is family-run. You’ll work with a small, supportive team where positive technicians are trusted to do their job, backed when they need help, and genuinely valued.

Key responsibilities

Routine inspection, testing and maintenance of fire protection equipment, including fire detection systems, panels, emergency lighting and portables

Fault finding, servicing and repairs





Installation and commissioning of dry fire systems

Fire detection and project work

Testing and servicing in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, including AS 1851

Completing service reports and compliance documentation

Liaising with customers and site contacts

About you

We’re ideally looking for an experienced Fire Technician with a solid background in dry fire and fire detection.

You’ll ideally have:

- Experience with fire detection systems, testing, servicing and fault finding
- Good knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and compliance requirements
- Relevant fire industry licences/accreditations
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and pride in your workmanship
