The Role

n

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager to deliver an outstanding customer experience while driving sales and operational excellence. This role is a maternity leave cover for a 12 month period.

n

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll help coach and develop team members, manage daily store operations and contribute to the overall success of the store.

n

The key focus areas of the role include:

- Supporting the day-to-day operation of the store
n
- Delivering outstanding customer service and customer outcomes
n
- Leading, coaching and developing team members
n
- Driving sales performance and achieving store KPIs
n
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and training activities
n
- Managing inventory levels and stock accuracy
n
- Maintaining high standards of merchandising and store presentation
n
- Resolving customer concerns and acting as an escalation point when required
n
- Supporting store administration, reporting and operational processes
n

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

- Previous experience in an Assistant Store Manager, Team Leader or similar retail leadership role
n
- Proven experience leading and developing teams
n
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
n
- Experience driving sales performance and achieving targets
n
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- Robust organisational skills and attention to detail
n
- Experience managing stock, inventory and retail operations
n
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
