Poolwerx Rockhampton is seeking a Pool & Spa Service Technician to join our team on a casual basis. This role offers the opportunity to work in the pool and spa servicing industry, providing essential maintenance and support services to our valued customers. Based in Rockhampton QLD 4700, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service and technical expertise. This casual position provides flexibility whilst allowing you to develop your skills in a growing and agile field.

What you'll be doing

n

Perform routine pool and spa maintenance, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment inspection

n

Test and monitor water chemistry using appropriate testing equipment and procedures

n

Identify and troubleshoot pool and spa equipment faults and malfunctions

n

Service and maintain filtration systems, pumps, and heating equipment

n

Provide customers with advice on pool and spa care and best practice maintenance

n

Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work completed

n

Respond promptly to customer enquiries and service requests

n





Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant health and safety standards

n

What we're looking for

n

Certificate III in Pool Plant Operation or equivalent qualification in pool and spa technology (or willingness to obtain)

n

Sound knowledge of pool and spa chemistry and water treatment processes

n

Competency in using pool testing equipment and maintaining accurate records

n

Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients

n

Reliability and punctuality with the ability to work flexible hours as required

n

A current driver's licence and willingness to travel within the service area

n

Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks

n

A safety-conscious approach to work with attention to detail

n

Preferably, experience with equipment repairs and troubleshooting
