Contracts Manager - Tier-1 Construction & Development Group

The Company:
n Self-delivering all of their own projects, this group has established themselves as one of Australia's premier fully-integrated construction and development groups. With over 50 years industry experience, this group has completed in excess of $5bil of their own developments nationally.

Their delivery portfolio includes high-riseapartments & hotel towers, build to rent & student accommodation, large-format retail centres, commercial office towers & mixed-use precincts.

SEQ Project Pipeline:
n With construction due to commence on several landmark multi-stage development projectsin Q3 and Q4 this year, they are looking tobolster their SEQ Delivery Team with an experienced Contracts Manager.

n

As Contracts Manager, you will take commercial lead on a 40-storey tower precinct development, working alongside the QLD Project Director, overseeing a team of CA's and PE's. You will also have exposure to the wider commercial functions across the QLD business.

QLD Senior Leadership Team will provide defined professional development and career progression pathways into Project Manager or Commercial Manager capacities (depending on career preferences).

Ideal Experience:

n

n
- Minimum 5 years of experience working for a commercial builder, developer or consultancy in a CA, PC, or Contract Manager capacity.
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture.
n
- Experience overseeing the associated procurement, contract management, and financial management functions, ideally on commercial mixed-use, multi-residential, and/or mixed-use construction and development projects.
n
- Experience reviewing, negotiating, and executing Head Contracts and Subcontracts, coordinating with external legal counsel during disputes to achieve resolution.
n
- Solid contractual and financial management focus, with demonstrated experienced leading the relevant forecasting and reporting functions on commercial projects.
